Terms of Use
Effective 13 September 2026
By creating an account or using Farm Next Door, you agree to these terms. Read them together with the Privacy Policy.
1. The marketplace
Farm Next Door provides technology that connects independent buyers and sellers. Unless a listing expressly says otherwise, the seller supplies the produce and the buyer purchases from that seller. Farm Next Door is not the seller, delivery provider or payment processor.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information, protect your sign-in details, and use the service lawfully. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may request information, review stores, restrict content or suspend access to protect users and the marketplace.
3. Seller responsibilities
Sellers must describe produce, price, quantity, harvest information and fulfilment accurately; comply with food, labelling, tax, council and other laws that apply to them; maintain safe handling practices; and resolve buyer issues where they are responsible. Store approval is a platform review and is not a government licence, food-safety certification or endorsement.
4. Orders, payment and fulfilment
An order request is an arrangement between buyer and seller. Cash and PayID are arranged directly and are not held, processed or verified by Farm Next Door. Each party must confirm price, timing, pickup or delivery and any cancellation or refund directly. Use a safe, lawful meeting place and do not share unnecessary financial credentials.
5. Prohibited conduct
Do not post false, misleading, unlawful, unsafe or infringing content; harass another person; misuse personal information; evade access controls; interfere with the service; or use the marketplace for spam, fraud or prohibited goods.
6. Disputes and reports
Try to resolve an order issue through its conversation. You may then contact Farm Next Door support. We may review records, moderate content or accounts, and facilitate communication, but we do not guarantee that we can resolve a dispute or recover money or goods.
7. Availability and liability
The service is provided with due care, but availability and information supplied by users may vary. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Farm Next Door is not responsible for independent users’ produce, conduct, payment arrangements, fulfilment, injury, loss or indirect loss. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law rights.
8. Changes and termination
We may update features and these terms, giving reasonable notice where a change materially affects users. You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or end access for a serious or repeated breach, safety concern, legal requirement or platform risk.
9. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Contact Farm Next Door through the Contact page or at info@farmnextdoor.net.
